TOKYO - A massive earthquake measuring 8.8 on the Richter Scale (SR), which rocked Japan today to make people panic in the city of Tokyo. Fire was also seen at several locations in the capital of that State.

Public broadcaster NHK quoted as saying by Reuters on Friday (3/11/2011) reported smoke and fire visible on some buildings in Odaiba, Tokyo suburb. While the bullet train that leads to the north of the city stopped.

Panic struck Tokyo and residents who live on the coast. They tried to save themselves. The panic increased after the tsunami warning as high as 10 feet will hit Tokyo.
